A Father is a special gift,
One you think will stay.
You never think the time will come,
When he is called away.

But when the moment comes,
And you never said goodbye.
The pain overwhelms you,
And all you do is cry.

You laughed with me in good times,
And cried with me, when sad.
You always went without for me,
You gave me all you had.

You taught me many things in life,
That I would have to do.
But, Dad, you never taught me,
How to cope with losing you.
